Volunteer Alexandria To Hold Ribbon Cutting For New Del Ray Office
The nonprofit Volunteer Alexandria and the Spitfire Club, a children's book club, are sharing office space in Del Ray.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Volunteer Alexandria and the Spitfire Club will hold a ribbon cutting to open their new office space in Del Ray Thursday.
Volunteer Alexandria, which connects people with volunteer opportunities in Alexandria, will share office space and resources with the Spitfire Club, a book club emphasizing strong, female leads. The new office is located at 2202 Mount Vernon Avenue, Suite 200, Alexandria, VA.
The opening event will be held Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a ribbon cutting around 5:45 p.m. City officials were invited to make remarks. All are invited to attend and learn about the agencies. Attendees are encouraged to bring a new reusable grocery bag for agencies distributing groceries or donations of children's books.
