Witnesses Sought In Alexandria Crash Killing Motorcyclist

Alexandria Police continue to seek information on an October crash at a Braddock Road intersection in Alexandria.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Alexandria Police renewed a call for witness information in an October crash that killed a motorcyclist.

The crash happened around 8:01 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 17 at W. Braddock Road and High Street. The crash involved an SUV and motorcycle, causing the motorcyclist to be taken to the hospital in critical condition. The motorcyclist later died of his injuries and was identified as Edward Mays, 42.

The SUV driver remained on scene. The police department's Crash Reconstruction Team continues to investigate.
