Grown-Ups Art Camp offers over 30 workshops (day, night, weekday, weekend)—for anyone and everyone—scheduled from June 29 through July 17, 2015. Register for as many workshops as you want!
These three different workshops may specifically interest artists and creatives: “Taking the Fear Out of Writing an Artist Statement”, “The Frame Game”, and “Creative Boost”. More information below on each workshop.

Workshop: “Taking the Fear Out of Writing an Artist Statement”
Date: Monday, June 29 from 6:30-8:30pm
Instructor: Betsy Mead
Workshop Fee: $35 Del Ray Artisans members / $45 non-members
Class size: 6-20 participants

This workshop teaches students the basics of writing an artist statement, whether for general use or for specific shows.

Date: Monday, July 13 from 7-9pm
Instructor: Karen Schmitz
Workshop Fee: $35 Del Ray Artisans members / $45 non-members
Plus Supply Fee: $5
Class size: 6-12 participants
Learn how to best show your artwork for exhibitions. Lots of priceless framing tips, the do’s & don’ts and the must haves. Learn about matting, hinging, acid-free materials and the “Must” wire and screw-eyes.

Date: Tuesday, July 14 from 7-9:30pm
Instructor: Karen Schmitz
Workshop Fee: $45 Del Ray Artisans members / $55 non-members
Plus Supply Fee: $10
Class size: 6-8 participants
Stuck in a creative rut? Don’t know how to start making art? Using your senses of: smell, sight, hearing and touch your intuitive artist will be given a big boost. Painting, drawing and collaging in a relaxed environment with creative exercises to promote spontaneity.
