• Dumfries Woman Charged After Shooting At Snake In Front Of Her House: PWC Police (patch.com) — Residents in Dumfries may have heard gunshots Wednesday afternoon when a local woman fired several rounds at a snake outside her home on Vineland Place, police said. Officers reported no injuries and could not find the snake, but the homeowner was charged with reckless handling of a firearm and released pending a court date.
