Cornerstone Dance Initiative presents Dancing Together: Pas de Deux & Partnering Pedagogy, part of The Cornerstone Workshop Series.
This professional-development workshop is designed for dance educators, assistant teachers, choreographers, and advanced dancers ages 16+ who are interested in teaching, rehearsing, or creating partnered work in ballet, contemporary, modern, and concert dance contexts.
Led by Justin Rustle, the workshop will explore practical tools for safer, more thoughtful partnering, including communication, trust, consent, timing, weight-sharing, and collaborative movement. Participants do not need to attend with a partner, and no pointe work or advanced lifting experience is required.
Dancing Together will take place on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, from 6:30–9:00 PM at The Center for Ballet Arts in Fairfax, VA.
Early Bird registration is $45 through July 22. Regular registration is $55. Participants attending with a colleague may use code DANCETOGETHER5 for $5 off individual workshop registration.
