FAIRFAX, VA – A fundraiser has been launched for the 2 sons of a longtime Fairfax resident and public school teacher who passed away in May.

Pamela McAllister, 58, passed away on May 29 following complications after surgery. She taught for 10 years at Fairfax County public schools, eventually becoming a special education teacher at Vienna Elementary School.

According to the GoFundMe page, Pamela leaves behind 2 sons: Jacques (JT), 25, and Eli, 16. Eli is a sophomore and a wrestler at Fairfax High School, and JT is working and studying to be a general contractor. JT is now caring for Eli as he finishes high school. The fundraiser aims to collect money to help with their living expenses.
