Heavy Flames Reported At Fair Oaks Home; 2 People Hospitalized In 2-Alarm Blaze

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — Two people were taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries they received from a two-alarm house fire in Fair Oaks overnight on Tuesday. No other injuries were reported.

Fairfax County Fire & Rescue responded late just before midnight on Tuesday for the report of a fire in the 12300 block of Firestone Court. Heavy fire was showing from the home when firefighters arrived and a second alarm was requested.

The fire was reported under control around 12:40 a.m., on Wednesday, with fire crews hitting hotspots and fire inspectors on the scene, according to FCFRD.
