FAIRFAX CITY, VA — City of Fairfax Police arrested two out-of-state men on Thursday after receiving a FLOCK alert that recognized the vehicle they were driving was stolen.

Officers responded to the area of Main Street and Judicial Drive around 3 p.m. and located the stolen vehicle. Nearby, they found and detained 36-year-old Kendarius Hope of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and 35-year-old Lasharie Roberts of Dothan, Alabama, according to police. They were arrested and taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.

Both men were charged with receiving stolen goods. Investigators determined that Hope had an outstanding warrant out of Washington County, Arkansas for forgery, according to police. He was served with that warrant. Hope and Roberts were then held without bond.
