2 Robberies At Fair Lakes, Chantilly Stores May Be Linked: Police

FAIRFAX, VA — Fairfax County Police believe that two robberies involving two woman at businesses in Chantilly and the Fair Lakes area are linked, according to the weekly crime report.

Around 6:46 p.m., on Tuesday, an employee of the ABC Store at 13944 Lee Jackson Memorial Highway confronted two women who had left the store without paying for merchandise they had taken, police say. One of the women implied that they had a weapon, before both of them drove away in a vehicle. No injuries were reported.

Around 7:56 p.m. on that same night, two women took merchandise from the Ultra Beauty store, which is located in 13048 Fair Lakes Shopping Center. After leaving the store without paying, they drove off in a vehicle, according to police.
