FAIRFAX CITY, VA – Fairfax Economic Development Authority, the Central Fairfax Chamber of Commerce, are teaming up once again to host the seventh annual of Fairfax City Restaurant Week.

From Monday, Feb. 26 through Sunday, March 3, the city's restaurant community will be offering a week-long selection of meals and deals.

“Restaurant Week is that nudge our residents get twice a year that says dining out is a community event. Trying new restaurants, or trying new offerings at favorite places, is something we can do together and we invite other people to join us too,” said Fairfax City Mayor, Catherine Read. “Dining in the city can be a culinary trip around the world without needing a passport.”

During restaurant week, diners will be able to order off of prix fixe menus of $25 for lunch/brunch and $40 for dinner per person, couple or family at participating restaurants. In addition, specialty restaurants will be offering a two for $10 deal, giving diners an opportunity to sample a variety of eclectic flavors offered by the city's diverse food and drink purveyors.

"The ongoing success of Fairfax City Restaurant Week is due in part to the hard work of its co-sponsors, the Fairfax City Economic Development Authority, the Central Fairfax Chamber of Commerce, and Old Town Fairfax Business Association," said Christopher Bruno, CEO and president of the Fairfax City EDA. "Together, they have consistently expanded the event, establishing Fairfax City as a premier dining destination and fostering a strong sense of community among restaurant operators.”
