2024 Winter Storm Photo Gallery: Snow Photos From Fairfax City Readers
Patch readers share their snow photos from the first big winter storm of the year. More snow is expected on Friday.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — With schools closed, events canceled and some government offices delaying their opening times due to the big winter storm earlier this week, Fairfax City residents frolicked in the snow.
Patch reached out to our Fairfax City readers and asked them to send us photos showing their experiences dealing with the season's first big snow fall. You'll find all of their submissions below.
National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory from 4 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday for much of the region, including the District of Columbia, Fairfax County, Arlington County, Falls Church, Alexandria, Stafford County, Fauquier County, Loudoun County, northwest, southeast and central Prince William County, Manassas and Manassas Park.
