$20M Donated To Inova Health System By Peterson Family: Report
Inova Health Foundation recently received a $20 million donation from the Peterson family of Fairfax-based Peterson Cos., reports say.

FAIRFAX, VA — The Peterson family of Fairfax-based Peterson Cos. donated $20 million to the Inova Health System, putting it closer to meeting its $75 million fundraising goal, according to the Washington Business Journal.
Last spring, NVR. Inc. founder Dwight Schar and his wife Martha challenged the healthcare system to match the couple's $75 million gift to the Inova's Heart and Vascular Institute, WBJ reported. Thanks to the Peterson family's $20 million gift, the nonprofit has raised $68 million.
“I cannot overstate how many patients and families in our community and region they will impact with this latest gift — certainly thousands upon thousands,” Sage Bolte, chief philanthropy officer and president of the Inova Health Foundation, told WBJ's Sara Gilgore in an email.
