Man Spotted Driving Car With 2 Flat Tires Cited For DUI By Fairfax City Police

A man was arrested after Fairfax City Police spotted him driving a car with two flat tires, according to the weekly crime report.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — From May 15 to May 21, City of Fairfax Police arrested three people for alcohol-related offenses, according to the weekly crime report.

Officers were called around 2:03 a.m., on May 16 to the 7-Eleven store at 3910 University Drive for the report of a larceny. The person who called police told the officers that they had seen a man concealing alcoholic beverages in his pockets.

After locating the man nearby, the officers determined that he was intoxicated and took him into custody.

The man, whom police identified as 23-year-old Pawel Jelonek of Fairfax, was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where he was charged with petit larceny, drunk in public and obstruction of justice. He was then held on a secured bond.

On May 17, around 8:16 p.m., officers investigated the report of a disorderly man at Meokja Meokja Korean BBQ, which is located at 9619 Fairfax Blvd. They arrested 50-year-old Andreus Magruder of no fixed address, whom they determined was intoxicated and had previously been trespassed from the restaurant.

Once at the detention center, the officers charged Magruder with trespass and drunk in public. He was then held without bond.

The third incident occurred on May 19, around 11:37 p.m., when officers responded to the report of a reckless driver in the area of Main Street and Fairfax Boulevard.

Observing a vehicle traveling on two flat tires, officers executed a traffic stop. After determining that the driver of the vehicle, identified as 41-year-old Jehyun Park of Fairfax, was intoxicated, police arrested him and took him to the detention center.

Park was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and held without bond, according to the release.
