Weapon, Assault Charges Filed Against Intoxicated Fairfax Man: Police
City of Fairfax Police arrested a Fairfax man they say was displaying a handgun during an argument outside a Fairfax Boulevard store.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — City of Fairfax Police arrested a 32-year-old man on a multiple charges, including brandishing a firearm near a school, outside a Fairfax City business.
Officers responded around 5:31 p.m. on Tuesday to the H-Mart at 11200 Fairfax Blvd. for the report of someone with a firearm. Investigators determined that an unknown man displayed a handgun during an argument in a nearby parking lot, according to police.
Police located the suspect, identified as Anania Keene of the 11700 block of Scooter Lane in Fairfax, in the area. Officers determined Keene was under the influence of narcotics and that he had been involved in an unrelated assault on Monday, according to police.

As Keene was taken into custody and arrested, he spit at an officer. A search of the suspect revealed that he had two lighters shaped like handguns in his possession.
Police charged Keene with brandishing a firearm within 1,000 feet of a school, assault on law enforcement, and public intoxication. He was also served a warrant for simple assault for the earlier incident.

Keene was held without bond at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, according to police.
