Fairfax Lions are proud to help vision-impaired persons.
1 example: Each year, Virginia Lions provide financial aid for training or education of sight-handicapped individuals. We are awarding 4 scholastic grants this year. 2 grants will be presented at the dinner meeting of the Fairfax Lions Club on March 4th, 2014. These grants are provided thru Virginia Lions Eye Institute. VLEI, co-sponsored by Inova Health System, helps those with low-vision and provides equipment purchases, community education, scholarships, and clinical research across northern Virginia.
