Businesses, Developers Among Amos Donors

Jon Peterson, CEO of Peterson Companies, contributed $1,500 to Amos on July 16. The filing lists Peterson's cumulative contributions to the committee as $2,500, indicating that $1,000 of his giving occurred before the 2026 reporting period covered by the four reports reviewed for this story.

Amos also received $500 in June from Andres Jimenez, whose employer and occupation were listed in the filing as the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors and supervisor, respectively.

The campaign's latest report shows particularly strong fundraising late in the summer. Amos raised $8,542.50 from July 24 through Aug. 31, more than 40 percent of his total 2026 contributions through August.

Of that amount, $7,630 came from itemized cash contributions, $655 from smaller cash contributions, $157.50 from an in-kind contribution from Amos and $100 from another smaller in-kind contribution.

In addition to Fields and Great American Restaurants, Christopher Roberts contributed $500 during the latest period and West Springfield Car Care gave $600. Chantal Vachon Deflumeri contributed $200 during the period, bringing her cumulative giving to the committee to $650.

His campaign raised $2,375 during the first quarter.
