8 Cars Left Unlocked Targeted By Burglars

Fairfax City Police reports string of incidents Thanksgiving night.

More than most, this time of year brings persistent reminders from law enforcement to keep car doors locked and to remove all valuables. And sometimes incidents drive the point home, too.

Thanksgiving night in Fairfax, eight unlocked cars were rifled through sometime after 11 p.m.

Police responded to calls on Heritage Lane, Cornell Road, Country Hill Drive and Parklane Road.
