94-Year-Old Man Arrested In Hit-And-Run Incident: Fairfax City Police
A Fairfax City man faces a felony hit-and-run charge for striking a pedestrian with his car on Fairfax Boulevard last month, police say.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — A 94-year-old Fairfax City man was arrested Friday morning in connection with a felony hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian on Nov. 29 in Fairfax City, according to a police release.
An investigation by the City of Fairfax Police determined that around 5:50 p.m., a vehicle heading westbound in the right through lane on Fairfax Boulevard struck a pedestrian in the crosswalk at the intersection of Pickett Road, according to police. The driver left the area without identifying themself.
The pedestrian was taken to INOVA Fairfax Hospital, where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries, according to police.

Through their investigation, police identified Timoleon Spiliotopoulos of 3238 Cambridge Court in Fairfax as the driver of the striking vehicle.
On Friday, at 10 a.m., police charged Spiliotopoulos with felony hit and run. He was then released from the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center on a $5,000 unsecured bond.
