Aggravated Malicious Wounding Charge Filed In Fairfax Stabbing

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — City of Fairfax Police arrested 22-year-old Orvin Lemus Nunez of an undetermined address in connection with a stabbing that took place at a local convenience store.

Officers responded around 11:14 p.m., to the 7-Eleven at 10810 Fairchester Drive for the report of a stabbing. Investigators determined that they had been stabbed in the stomach by an acquaintance during an argument, according to police. The victim was taken to Fairfax Hospital for their injuries.

Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division identified Nunez as a suspect in the case and an arrest warrant for aggravated malicious wounding, according to police.

On Sunday, officers arrested Nunez and took him to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where he is being held without bond.
