Artful Living: A Community Event with Art and Heart!
Join us at Artful Living: Resilience on April 22 at the Sherwood Center in Fairfax City, 7-10 p.m. Art Show and Sale and community event.

Britepaths (formerly Our Daily Bread) is excited to present our 3rd annual Artful Living event on Saturday, April 22 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Stacy C. Sherwood Community Center in Fairfax City (3740 Old Lee Hwy, Fairfax, VA 22030). We are proud to once again be part of the Fairfax Spotlight on the Arts Festival.
This year's theme is "Resilience," and more than 50 works of art by local artists interpreting that theme will be part of the juried art show, and also available for sale that evening. We will also enjoy live music by local Latin-jazz band Batida Diferente, and delicious appetizers, wine and craft beers. A live auction will feature fun items and experiences, including an evening at Wolf Trap package to enjoy Puccini's "Tosca," an Outer Banks vacation rental and a wine basket with wonderful Mediterranean reds. During the evening, we will hear from a Britepaths Financial Mentoring client who worked diligently with volunteers and staff to overcome her struggles and become financially self-sufficient.
Proceeds from the evening benefit Britepaths' programs to provide emergency assistance and financial education and mentoring services, with the goal of stabilizing working individuals and families who live throughout the Fairfax County area while they work to be self-sufficient. A portion of the proceeds will also benefit the Spotlight on the Arts Scholarship Fund.
