Assault & Battery Charge Filed Against Great Falls Man In Fairfax City

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — A 20-year-old Great Falls man was charged with assault and battery, in connection with an incident that occurred early Sunday morning in Fairfax City, according to the weekly crime report.

City of Fairfax Police responded around 1:20 a.m. to the 10500 block of Forest Avenue for the report of an assault. The person who contacted police told the officers that they had been assaulted by a person who was know to them. The victim received minor injuries, according to the report.

The victim obtained a warrant for assault and battery from the Fairfax County Magistrate's Office. Police located Adam Waters and served him with the warrant. Released on his signature, Waters has an upcoming court date, according to the report.
