FAIRFAX CITY, VA — City of Fairfax Police filed assault, petit larceny, and disorderly conduct charges against 34-year-old Osame Bah of Annandale in connection with an incident that occurred Thursday afternoon at a local grocery store.

Officers responded around 4:19 p.m., for the report of an assault at the Giant Food located at 9400 Fairfax Blvd. An investigation determined that a man, who was later identified as Bah, entered the store and started to act in a disorderly manner. Bah took a consumable item without paying and left the store, according to police. A staff member told officers that the suspect pushed them two times.

After locating Bah nearby, the officers took him into custody and transported him to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. After Bah was charged, he was held without bond.
