Assault Charges Filed In Incident At Fairfax City Giant Food: Police

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — City of Fairfax Police arrested a woman for assaulting two employees at the Giant Food store at 9400 Fairfax Blvd. on Sunday afternoon, according to the weekly crime report.

Officers responded around 12:06 p.m. to Giant Food for the report of a woman assaulting employees. Police determined that 24-year-old Anaudia Holland of no fixed address had previously trespassed and left the store with unpaid items. When two employees confronted Holland on Sunday, she assaulted them, according to police.

The officers took Holland to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where they charged her with two counts of assault and batter, and one count each of trespass and petit larceny. She was then held on a $3,000 secured bond, according to the report.
