Members of GMU's Green Machine will perform Thursday during the official ribbon-cutting of Fairfax City's Big Buns restaurant.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — Although Big Buns opened its restaurant in Fairfax City's Point 50 shopping center on Aug. 3, it will be celebrating its official arrival on Fairfax Boulevard by cutting a ribbon on Thursday night.
The festivities kick off 6:30 p.m., when members of the Fairfax City Council and the Central Fairfax Chamber of Commerce join Big Buns management for the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
As they sample food and drinks, attendees will enjoy music provided by a live DJ, as well as Doc Nix and the Green Machine from George Mason University. Big Buns will also be handing out prizes and company swag during the celebration.
