Brazen Vehicle Burglar Sought In Fairfax: Police

FAIRFAX, VA—Authorities are looking for a man seen breaking a vehicle's window, stealing items and then loading them into his own vehicle Sunday afternoon outside World Gym at 10201 Main Street, according to Fairfax Police. His vehicle is described as a silver Hyundai Elantra with a black plastic bag covering the license plate.

Shortly after 12:30 p.m., a woman said she saw a man breaking a window in a vehicle, removing items and then placing them inside the Elantra. She called police but the man fled before they arrived. Turns out two other vehicles had been broken into, as well. Police are reviewing surveillance video of the parking lot.
