Budget News: Fairfax City Manager Presents Proposed Budget

We need you — to help determine Fairfax City’s financial priorities for the upcoming fiscal year, as Mayor and City Council review the proposed budget and five-year Capital Improvement Projects Plan (CIP) for the next fiscal year.
The budget is the city’s single most important document. It determines the future, funding projects and programs that lay the groundwork for the community’s future accomplishments.

The CIP identifies capital projects for the next five years, including the next fiscal year projects to be included in the budget.
What can you do?
- Review the proposed budget and CIP
- Online: download from fairfaxva.gov/budget (available on Wednesday, February 26
- At the Library: A copy will be available in the Virginia Room of the City of Fairfax Regional Library, 10360 North Street
- In print: a very limited number of printed copies will be available in the Finance Office, City Hall Room 312
- Attend City Council work sessions and meetings in the City Hall Annex
