Cash Registers Stolen From 4 Fairfax Blvd. Businesses: Police

City of Fairfax Police are investigating four commercial burglaries that occurred early Wednesday along Fairfax Boulevard.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — City of Fairfax Police are investigating a series of burglaries that occurred early Wednesday morning at four businesses along Fairfax Boulevard, according to the daily bulletin.

Officers responded around 3:36 a.m., to an alarm at the Hooters restaurant located at 10060 Fairfax Blvd. They found evidence of a forced entry, including a shattered glass door. A cash register was taken from the restaurant, but an employee told police that it contained no money.

Police began checking other businesses in the area and discovered signs of forced entries at three establishments in the Fairfax Circle Shopping Center:

  • MC Nails Salon, 9645 Fairfax Blvd.
  • Cameron's Coffee and Chocolates, 9639 Fairfax Blvd.
  • Myung-Ga Korean Deli, 9643 Fairfax Blvd.

The front of each of the storefronts were damaged and cash registers containing an unknown amount of money were taken from each of the businesses.

The Criminal Investigations Division of the City of Fairfax Police Department is investigating these burglaries.
