Safe, Cash Stolen During Burglary At Fairfax City Restaurant

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — Police are investigating a burglary reported Monday morning at Sarku Japan in Fairfax City.

The City of Fairfax Police Department received a delayed report of the burglary at just before 8 a.m. on Monday. The restaurant is located at 9508 Main St.

Investigators determined that one or more burglars broke the glass on the restaurant’s front door to enter the business, police said. Money was stolen from the cash register, along with a safe and its contents.

Police did not disclose how much money was taken or when the burglary occurred.
