Hosted by Parkinson Social Network, on August 26th in-person live event, Dr. Ray Dorsey, neurologist, movement disorder specialist, researcher, and author will share some of the recently released book, The Parkinson’s Plan and there will be time for a Q&A session with the live in-person and streaming audience.
Ray Dorsey & Michael S. Okun’s The Parkinson’s Plan is a prescriptive, research-backed guide that empowers readers to take action, whether they are newly diagnosed, long-time patients, caregivers, or loved ones wanting to lower their risk. Drs. Dorsey and Okun are two of the most trusted voices in the Parkinson’s field, with over 40K combined followers across their newsletter and social media.

Dr. Ray Dorsey holds a Bachelor of Science in biological sciences from Stanford University, and a joint MD/MBA degree from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine and the Wharton School. Upon graduation, Dr. Dorsey spent two years at McKinsey & Company consulting for pharmaceutical and tech companies during the dot-com boom. Dr. Dorsey is currently with Atria Health and Research Institute as a practicing neurologist and director of the Center for the Brain & the Environment, a nonprofit research initiative that will investigate the environmental causes of brain diseases, including Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and more.
