Cavaliers Dominate Titans in 4-1 Victory
Senior Erin Havard's two scores on corner shots in the second helped seal the win for the Cavs.
The Cavaliers improved to 4-0-1 with a dominant 4-1 victory at T.C. Williams High School Monday evening.
A young Titans team, with just two seniors, seemed overwhelmed by the Cavaliers' experience and speed. They rarely had possession of the ball near Woodson’s goal, and when they did, Woodson defenders were there to shut them down every time.
The Titans' lone goal came on a long shot by junior mid fielder Sofia Leidolf with
under one minute remaining in the first half.
Senior midfielder Kaitlin Brooks started the Rebels off early, giving the Cavs a 1-0 lead in the 28th minute of the first half.

Woodson remained unaffected by the numerous off-sides and out-of-bounds calls by the referees. Head coach Warren Williams kept his players fresh with substitutions, steering them into great scoring positions throughout the game.
