Centreville Immigrant Group Celebrates 10 Years Of Service
The Centreville Immigration Forum is holding an online 10th anniversary celebration Thursday that will include Inspiration Award honorees.
CENTREVILLE, VA — The Centreville Immigration Forum is holding an online 10th anniversary celebration on Thursday, showcasing how the group has helped the immigrant community in the area over the past decade.
The live one-hour celebration starts at 7 p.m. and is free to everyone. The event will feature a look at the work of the group, particularly its effectiveness in organizing immigrants and workers in the community.
"During this global pandemic, members of CIF have been affected by job loss and many are not able to access relief programs," the group said. "With your support, we can continue to provide resources and referrals to our members, in addition to operating our programs and planning for the future."

At the event, the group will be presenting its Inspiration Award to this year's honorees: La Directiva, Edgar Aranda-Yanoc, Dr. Al Fuertes and the International Mayan League.
