Charges Filed In 3 Burglaries Of Fairfax City Businesses In September
Fairfax City police arrested a 55-year-old man in connection with a series of burglaries that occurred at three city businesses on Sept. 23.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — City of Fairfax Police arrested 55-year-old David Moore of no fixed address in connection with three burglaries that occurred at the following businesses, according to a police release:
- Sept. 23, 2:35 a.m.: Shell Gas Station, 11175 Lee Highway
- Sept. 23, 6:03 a.m.: Peking Village II, 10782 Fairfax Blvd.
- Sept. 23, 9:46 a.m.: Elite Barber, 10940 Fairfax Blvd.
An investigation determined that Moore forced his way into two of the businesses by manipulating the locking mechanisms on their rear doors and stole money once inside. Police were unable to verify how he gained entry into the third business.
Police identified Moore as a suspect after he committed burglaries in other jurisdictions. according to the release.

On Nov. 8, police charged Moore with three counts of burglary, one count of possession of burglarious tools, and two counts of petit larceny. He was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where he is being held without bond.
