Chase With Toy Hammer Leads To Arrest By Fairfax City Police: Report

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — City of Fairfax Police were summoned to the 10500 block of West Drive around 12:19 p.m., on April 5, for the report of an assault, according to the weekly crime report.

The person who called for assistance told the officers that they had argued with a man, who then chased them with a toy hammer. No injuries were reported.

Police determined that the suspect, whom they identified as 33-year-old Mohammad Ibrahimi of no fixed address, had an active warrant for assault and battery, according to the report.

Police took Ibrahimi to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where they served him with the warrant. He was then held without bond and charged with trespassing.
