City: No Trash Pickup on Memorial Day
Collection is scheduled to resume on Tuesday, May 31.
The City of Fairfax reminds residents that there will be no trash and recycling collection on Memorial Day, which is Monday, May 30. The city does not collect debris (refuse, recycling, yard waste, etc.) on government holidays.
Monday and Tuesday's regular routes will be collected on Tuesday, May 31. Please be aware: Collecting multiple days' worth of debris on a single day may cause delays in collection.
The regular collection of refuse and recycling will resume on Wednesday, June 1. For more information, call the city at 703-385-7837.
