Concrete Repair Operations On Chain Bridge Road Fairfax City To Begin May 26

Beginning May 26, the city is conducting concrete repairs on northbound Route 123/Chain Bridge Road from Judicial Drive to North Street.

Construction activities are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. The project is scheduled to continue for three months.

Northbound traffic on Chain Bridge Road will be reduced to one lane:

• from Judicial Drive to Sager Avenue during Phase 1, and
• from Sager Avenue to North Street during Phase 2.

There will be temporary closure of entrances to businesses and private residents to allow for construction activities during the work hours. Please follow directions by road work crews, and drive carefully in the construction zone.
