FAIRFAX CITY, VA — City of Fairfax Police invite the public to help them raise money for Special Olympics Virginia taking part in the Aug. 21 Cover The Cruiser event at Wawa.

For every donation someone makes for Special Olympics Virginia, a Torch Run icon will be placed on a police cruiser. The goal is to cover the entire cruiser with icons.

Cover The Cruiser takes place this Monday, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Wawa located at 9700 Fairfax Blvd. in Fairfax City.
