Fairfax County public and private school teachers and staff can begin receiving their COVID-19 vaccinations, Saturday, Jan.uary 16. The Health Department has partnered with Inova, which will administer the vaccine to this group.

Vaccinations began last week for those eligible in the Phase 1B populations, including adults age 75+, people living in correctional facilities and homeless shelters, and the first two groups in the frontline essential worker categories. The third group of frontline essential workers that is now eligible includes K-12 teachers/staff and childcare workers.

- Public school teachers and staff have received scheduling information directly from Fairfax County Public Schools and Falls Church City Public Schools.
- Private school teachers and staff will receive scheduling information from the Health Department.
- Childcare staff will receive scheduling information from the Health Department.
