COVID-19 Vaccine Registration Now Open For Some Frontline Essential Workers In Phase 1c

Beginning Monday, April 5, individuals who live or work in the Fairfax Health District that fall into the following categories are now eligible to register to get a COVID-19 vaccine:

- Energy
- Water, Wastewater, Waste Removal
- Housing and Construction
- Food Service
- Transportation and Logistics
- Institutions of Higher Education Faculty/Staff
See below for specific category details. The Fairfax Health District includes Fairfax County, the cities of Fairfax and Falls Church, and the towns of Clifton, Herndon and Vienna.
These are the first six priority groups of frontline essential workers in Phase 1c as outlined by the Virginia Department of Health.

Employees should be prepared to show some form of work-related identification or pay stub, because the vaccine appointment could be offered by one of our vaccine partners that may require ID.
As a reminder, Fairfax County is not participating in the statewide registration system at this time. Fairfax City residents should register on the Fairfax Health District website. If you previously registered on the statewide system, please register with Fairfax Health District to ensure you are invited to schedule an appointment.
