Deadbeat Hotel Guest Busted In Fairfax: Police
A New York City woman checked into the Best Western in Fairfax and stayed nearly three months, say Fairfax Police. And when the bill came?

FAIRFAX, VA — Somehow this actually happened, according to Fairfax Police. Namely, a woman from New York City checked into the Best Western hotel at 3535 Chain Bridge Road on June 13 and wound up staying for nearly three months until she was booted for not paying her bill. Giselle G. Ishmael, 42, of 244 — 5th Avenue, was charged with defrauding a hotel.
Last Friday, the manager told police a room occupant had been there since mid June, had run up a large bill but wasn't making payment on it. Ishmael told the manager and police she didn't have any money. So off to jail she went. Her bond was set at $1,000. (For more local news, click here to sign up for real-time news alerts.
