FAIR LAKES, VA — Fairfax County Police detectives were conducting a death investigation Monday afternoon after finding a body in a trailer used to transport trash, according to a 2:36 p.m. post on the department's official Twitter account.

The body did not show any signs of significant trauma, according to a 3:38 p.m. Twitter post.

The body was found in the 4600 block of West Ox Road, which is where the location of the I-66 Transfer Station and the Fairfax County Solid Waste Recycling Center. No information was available about whether the body was found in a trailer at the county facility.
