Hey you! Yes, YOU! Why haven’t you signed up for VolunteerFest yet? There are still projects that could use your attention.
VolunteerFest, held on October 26, 2013, is a region-wide day of community service held in conjunction with National Make a Difference Day. VolunteerFest mobilizes hundreds of volunteers to help nonprofits accomplish tasks that they would not have the time or resources to do on their own.
Don’t miss out on your chance to make a difference through hands-on projects such as landscaping, maintaining outdoor classrooms, sorting thrift shop donations, and many others. Last year over 800 community and corporate volunteers donated their time to participate in VolunteerFest!
