Donut Shop To Open In Mosaic District; Kreole Seafood Closes: Report
Kreole Seafood closed its Mosaic District restaurant earlier this month, while The Salty Donut plans to open nearby, according to reports.

MERRIFIELD, VA — Kreole Seafood, which opened in October 2023, served its last meal on Sunday, July 14, according to message posted on the Mosaic District restaurant's website from the Kreole Family.
"This decision was not made lightly," the message said. "Over this past year, it has been our privilege and joy to serve you delicious meals and warm hospitality. Your support has meant a great deal. We are deeply grateful for every meal you shared in our house and every smile you brought to our faces."
A spokesperson for the restaurant told FFXNow that Kreole had no comment beyond what was in the message, which they felt addressed “all pertinent points.” The full text of Kreole's message is posted below.
