Employee Admits To Writing Checks To Herself From Fairfax City Company's Account: Police
City of Fairfax Police arrested 52-year-old Stephanie Turk for writing checks to herself from the account of a local pluming company.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — Stephanie Turk, a 52-year-old Marshall, Virginia resident, was arrested for embezzlement at a City of Fairfax plumbing company on March 9, according to police.
City of Fairfax Police responded to FJ Hooks Plumbing at 10650 Main St. around 12:39 p.m., after receiving a report that an employee had used company checks to write five checks to themselves, which they later deposited.
When police confronted Turk, she admitted to writing and depositing the checks, according to police. During their investigation, officers also determine that she was wanted on an active warrant out of Fairfax County for a felony probation violation.

After taking Turk to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, police charged her with embezzlement. Turk was also served the probation violation warrant and held without bond.
