In advance of Stephen King’s appearance at this year’s Fall for the Book, the festival has partnered with Cinema Arts Theatre in Fairfax for a special screening of The Shawshank Redemption, based on King’s novella Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption and starring Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman. Cinema Arts offers the chance to see this now-classic film on the big screen on Thursday, September 15, at 7:30 p.m. The theater is located in Fair City Mall, 9650 Main Street, Fairfax, VA. And as an added bonus, ten tickets to King’s appearance at George Mason University will be distributed in pairs in conjunction with the screening.
