It was way back on my 14th birthday, sometime during the 20th century, that my folks gave me my first guitar. "Best investment we ever made," says my mom. I'd have to agree with her. Since teaching myself to play a few simple chords I've performed at birthday parties, child cares, festivals, fairs, elementary schools, libraries, television, radio... wherever young children and families are gathered.
