MUSIC & ARTS AT PROVIDENCE Concert Series, Providence Presbyterian Church, 9019 Little River Turnpike, Fairfax. Returning from last season's magnificent performance of the Elijah oratorio of Mendelssohn, the chorus of combined church choirs and friends from the Northern Virginia and Washington, DC area choral community, joined by soloists and orchestra under the baton of Terry Stoneberg, Music Director of Providence Presbyterian Church, will present two beloved Requiem Masses of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and John Rutter. The concert will also include a special performance of Psalm 142 by Julius Chajes as part of the centennial celebration of his birth. Complimentary hors d'oeuvres/beverages at "Meet The Artists" reception following the concert. Tickets: $20 in advance/$25 at door; seniors 65 and over and students $10/$15.
