Strengthen your body and relax your mind with gentle Chinese Exercise. Qigong (pronounced chee-gung) has been used for centuries to promote vitality and longevity all over Asia and is beginning to be incorporated into wellness programs here in the United States.
In this four-session class, you will learn simple movements to improve your strength and balance. We will also explore breathing techniques and meditations to help reduce stress and promote sleep that is more restful.

The instructor, Sharon Crowell, has a background in geriatric nursing and has been a Licensed Acupuncturist for 12 years. She is currently completing requirements for a Masters Degree in Medical Qigong from the International Institute of Medical Qigong.
