Souvenir, a comedy with music

Join the Young Hearts’ benefit production of Souvenir—A Comedy with Music, Featuring Woodson’s beloved choral director, Michael Ehrlich as Come McMoon!  Proceeds benefit the WTW Young Hearts Club and their Light the Night Team.

About Souvenir:

She had wealth, social standing, and a burning desire to sing. Unfortunately, she had no talent. The real-life story of Florence Foster Jenkins (played by Harlie Sponaugle) is told through the eyes of her beloved accompanist, Cosme McMoon (played by Michael Ehrlich). A touching and comic tribute to this New York socialite's ambition, sincerity, love of music, as well as her total lack of talent, shows how she brought joy to thousands, and even caused her pianist to question the very meaning of music itself. As Florence once observed, "People may say I can't sing, but no one can ever say I didn't sing!
