Visions of Summer

High-spirited youth, innocent love, heroic music and lively dance mingle in this colorful and vibrant vision of summer’s warmth and glow. The Main Street Community Band, Geoffrey Seffens, Conductor, creates a “vibrant spirit in the air” with this family program of classical pieces and popular tunes, plus blues, jazz, marches, and even a tango. Works include the City of Fairfax March (Wayland), The Homefront: Memories of World War II (Christensen), Porgy and Bess (Gershwin), A Little Tango Music (Gorb), and Midway March (Williams).
