Fairfax City Hosts E-scooter Pilot Program Learning Session

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — Community members age 18 and older are invited to a free e-scooter safety and instruction demonstration Wednesday, Aug. 7, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Mosby Woods at Reb Street and Confederate Lane.

Individuals will learn the basics of balancing, starting and stopping, and how to use the app affiliated with Lime, Bird and Spin, the three dockless mobility companies participating in the Fairfax City e-scooter pilot program. Individuals who have already have helmets are encouraged to bring one.
